How to prepare marshmallows
To prepare delicious marshmallows, we first combine gelatin with an empty glass of cold water and leave it aside for 30 minutes. Next, pour 400 grams of sugar along with vanilla and salt along with 1 glass of water into a suitable pot.
At this stage, we put the pot on a low heat and let it reach the boiling point so that the sugar melts completely. Next, pour the mixture of gelatin and cold water into a metal bowl and place it on the steam.
After the gelatin is completely dissolved, stir the ingredients in the pot continuously and add the gelatin little by little to the pot and mix it with the other ingredients. For this purpose, it is better to use a manual or electric mixer.
At this stage, if you wish, you can add a few drops of food coloring to color the marshmallows. Now we mix the ingredients with a high speed mixer until the color is light and the volume increases and it becomes about 4 times the amount of the raw materials.
After about 10 to 20 minutes, when the marshmallows have grown well, cover the inside of a suitable container with cellophane, then grease the cellophane with a little liquid oil and pour the ingredients into the container to cool.
At this stage, we cover the ingredients with cellophane and put them in the refrigerator for 6 hours until the marshmallow is ready. After this time, we remove the container from the refrigerator and cut the marshmallow as desired.
After cutting the marshmallows, we combine starch and the remaining 30 grams of sugar and put them in a suitable bowl, then roll the marshmallows in the sugar and starch mixture and serve at the end.
