AM Starch

Zar Starch MFH 001 is a modified starch that has various applications due to its unique properties. In food industry it is mostly used in the production of starch gum candies. This starch is mixed with water, corn syrup and sugar and the resulting mixture is cooked and a jelly paste is obtained which upon cooling and aging in the molds, forms a gum confection. Incorporation of MFH 001 in pastille formulation, increases the temperature resistance of the final product and adds consistency.
