Corn starch can be used to produce cardboard sheets, in which case starch is used as an adhesive to stick the layers of cardboard sheets.

For this purpose, after mixing with water, corn starch becomes a slurry, and a part of it is mixed with the rest of the slurry after cooking, and the resulting suspension is used as a starch glue in the preparation of cardboard sheets for gluing the layers of cardboard sheets.
