An Introduction to Zar Grain Refinery

In the hard period of economic sanctions imposed by the world against our homeland, near the capital of Iran a project with various background developments started and the necessary preparations for building a grain refinery went through the agenda of Zar Industrial and research Group. At the early November 2014 the first phase of the country’s first grain refinery became operational with the presence of the First Vice President of Iran Dr. Jahangiri. This refinery has the advantage of relying on supply, production and distribution is scheduled in such a way that now it can refine thousands of tons of grain everyday for dozens of industrial units and subordinates in the country.

Goals and Vision

This industrial group managers and employees parallel to their development plans for Iran to achieve a more worthy place in the world food industry and trade have begun constructing and commissioning of the country’s largest Corn Deep Refinery factories with exclusive access to the rail transport network with a capacity of 4 million tons per year along with the productions such as starch, flour, gluten, bread industries, liquid sugar, pasta, cakes, cookies, biscuits, sweets, chocolate, baby food, cereal flakes, animal feed with large storage silos. Before the production of semolina flour by Zar Flour, despite the knowledge of international standards about the use of Semolina, due to lack of production null flour was being used in Iran.

Products


Agricultural products rich in starch such as corn can be using enzyme, hydrolysis and during different processes and high technology, turned into a variety of products with different applications. Some of these products including Glucose and Fructose syrups with varying degrees of sweetness as well as dextrose, maltose and maltodexrin can be noted.

Spectrum of products


This refinery with the advantage of relying on supply, production and distribution is scheduled in such a way that now it can refine thousands of tons of grain every day for dozens of food and pharmaceutical industrial units and subordinates around the country.

Inauguration of Dubai “Gulfood fair”
“Zar Fructose Co.” has reached to Dubai station on the way of conquering the global markets Based on export-oriented goals, the export team of “Zar Fructose Industrial Co.” is departed to Dubai to participate in “Gulfood Manufacturing exhibition”. This exhibition will be held on 7-9 November 2016 at Dubai World Trade Centre.

Iranian Deputy for Science and Technology and Commercialization deputy of vice-president visited Zar Grain Refinery closely and became acquainted with the progress and potential of this Mega-Project. Dr. Sheikh Zeinodin praised the project and said: Today for me is an exceptional day because for years I was waiting for HFCS production to become operational in Iran.

Mr. Mawdudi deputy secretary general at Ministry of commerce and advisor ti the minister of industry, mine and trade was the first welcomed guest at agrofood exhibition.
